COMMUNICATIONS:
Please communicate with your child’s coach via jdfrodyma@yahoo.com. Emails are highly preferred. Please remember the coaches are busy, and will get back to you as soon as possible.
We will assume your child is swimming at all of the meets unless otherwise noted.
Please notify the Coaches about your swimmer’s inability to attend meets by email via jdfrodyma@yahoo.com a minimum of FIVE DAYS prior to the meet the swimmer is unable to attend. If you know you are going to be on vacation, please let the coach know as early as possible.
TEAM PICTURES:
Individual and Age Group Team pictures will be taken TBA. Additional information, including times will appear on the website. There will be no practice that morning. Swimmers should wear their White Eagle Swim Team t-shirt and swimsuit. If the weather is questionable, please call the pool.

www.whiteeaglegc.com. This is our BEST form of communication during the season. Please check this regularly for updates. You will be able to access information including the meet and practice schedules, work assignments, coach email link, social events, and any urgent announcements.

Ribbons may be picked up on FRIDAYS ONLY after each Practice Session.
SWIM MEET PROTOCOL
POSITIVE CHECK-IN:
When your swimmer arrives at a meet, they need to highlight their name at our team’s check-in site. If your swimmer does not check in, the coaches will not know if they are there and will remove them from the lineup for the entire meet. No late arrivals! Speak to your coach if you have a situation.

DUAL MEETS:
All families are required to work SIX (6) jobs during our summer season. No-Shows will be fined $75 per meet and YOUR CHILD WILL be removed from the next meets lineup. To provide quality and efficiently run meets, it is vitally important that all parents fulfill their job requirements. If you need to find someone to work for you, contact the volunteer coordinator, Kim Powell or Keith Cudmore. kimrpowell@aol.com There will be a list of qualified student workers for hire posted on the team website. IN ADDITION, you will be required to work the championship meet your swimmer attends, either Classic or City. It is mandatory that you work a job at the Classic or City meet. This is not included in your (6) jobs. Assignments for jobs at championship meets will be posted at a later date.
Coaches will post the events your swimmer will participate in prior to each meet. Line-up sheets are posted on the White Eagle Club pool bulletin board. NOTE: These line-ups are subject to change at time of meet. Please check with the coach at the meet for final line-up information.

CHAMPIONSHIP MEETS:
The last two weekends of the swim season, all swimmers participate in one of two championship meets. City Championships are a qualification meet. Time requirements are listed in the handbook. Swimmers who do not achieve the city time requirements may attend the Classic Championship Meet. The two separate meets allow for balanced competition at each meet.
TEAM T-SHIRTS AND SWIM CAPS:
Team T-shirts, swim caps and other apparel are ordered at registration and will be distributed at Time Trials on Saturday, June 5th. Make sure to pick up your items in the gazebo.
TEAM SUITS AND OTHER APPAREL:
Team suits are mandatory to encourage team spirit. An apparel order form will be distributed at both registrations for the 2010 Swim Team Suits. You will be able to order team suits from "The Swim Team Store" (630) 548-5500 or theswimteamstore.com. Store is online and retail location at 1212 S. Naper Blvd #104, and/or order other team items like sweatshirts, towels and sweatpants. Swimmers will be able to try-on items during registration session on Sat., April 17th at 9:00 AM and Sunday, April 18th at 3:00 PM. If you need to try on items and are not able to attend one if this apparel sessions, you will need to go to the Swim Team Store for assistance..

FAMILY SOCIAL EVENTS – included in Meet Schedule
PASTA DINNERS & PARADES: A White Eagle Golf Club sponsored pasta dinner is served at the White Eagle Club pool the evenings before the Classic and City Championship meets. Team spirit is rampant, cars are decorated and posters are made for hanging in the team area at the championship meet. Afterwards, we all parade around the big White Eagle circle honking and cheering for our team.
AWARDS BBQ: The White Eagle Swim Team Awards BBQ was a huge success last year. Reservations are required and information will be posted on the website. Every swimmer will receive a trophy for participating on the White Eagle Swim Team. A musical slide show reviewing the season is played and other awards are presented.
