Brian Soczka
Head Golf Professional

Brian has been the Head Golf Professional at White Eagle Golf Club since 2006.

Brian graduated from the PGA accredited Professional Golf Management program at New Mexico State with a degree in Business Administration and a major in Marketing and Golf Management. Brian is a “Class A” Member of the PGA of America. His previous Club experience prior to joining White Eagle includes Mira Vista Golf and Country Club, El Cerrito, California; Stone Tree Golf Club in Novato, California; The Course at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, California; Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona; and Waterville Country Club in Oakland, Maine.

Brian is a nationally published golf instructor with pieces in Golf Illustrated, Maximum Golf and Golf Digest. He was also featured on ESPN’s “Timeless” series, and his story with Lama Kunga was recognized with a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Short Feature in May, 2006. To develop his knowledge of the game and teaching, he has attended PGA Player/Teacher Development Forums, receiving insight from Hank Haney, Jim McLean, Dave Pelz, and Dr. Gary Wiren. He has also attended PGA Education Series Seminars to keep himself well informed on all aspects of the golf business. Brian is a Callaway Staff Member.

Brian’s Lesson Rates are: $50.00 per ½ hour session;
$100.00 per hour session

Ryan First
First Assistant Golf Professional 
 
 
Ryan has been at White Eagle Golf Club since 2007 and is a “Class A” member of the PGA of America. Ryan graduated from Arizona State University in 2006 with a major in Business Administration and minor in Professional Golf Management. His previous club experience includes TPC Scottsdale, Whisper Rock Country Club and Firerock Country Club.  Ryan is a Ping staff member.

Ryan’s Lesson Rates are $40.00 per ½ hour session;
$80.00 per hour session

     Eric joined the White Eagle Golf Club Staff in 2010 and is a "Class A" member of the PGA of America.  Eric graduated from New Mexico State in 2008 with a major in Marketing, with an emphasis on Professional Golf Management.  Eric's previous experience includes positions at Mistwood Golf Club and Flossmoor Country Club.  While in school Eric completed internships at Cantigny Golf Club, Fox Run Golf Club, The Rail and Antioch Golf Club.  Eric is a Wilson staff member.

Eric's Lesson Rates are $40.00 per 1/2 hour session; $80.00 per hour session

Brian’s focus is providing friendly, efficient service from the moment Members and Guests arrive at the Club. From the Bag Drop, Bag Room, Practice Range, Caddies or Golf Cars, Brian and his staff are at your service. Brian continues to work on strengthening the White Eagle Caddie program.
